word of the day: coterminous

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=coterminous

"San Francisco is coterminous with San Francisco County."

"The word 'coterminous' instills me with unbridled glee!"

Coterminous.

(I wonder if this word will appear as my next search string for my eXTReMe Tracking account. "Folkungavallen" showed up, so why not?!)

That's an excellent word. :)

'Supercilious' is one of my favorite new ones. It's cool how many words there are that have no equivilent in the English language- for example, there's this one funky-sounding Inuit word that means 'to exchange wives, but only for a few days.'

The Inuits apparently have a language that assigns potentially a hundred terms to a single concept. As odd as English is, I can speak it well enough to get by. I best not move to Nunavut, which has the Inuit language (Inuktitut?) as it's default language.
